The Excelsior High Eagles will be well represented this weekend at the Junior CARIFTA Games Trials

Alumni/Friend

The Excelsior High Eagles will be well represented this weekend at the Junior CARIFTA Games Trials to be held at the National Stadium in Kingston Jamaica this Saturday and Sunday. The Ealges have thirty student-athletes (17 boys & 13 girls) who have made the qualifying standards for this event. This is the largest number of qualifiers Excelsior has ever had. Note: CARIFTA Trials are higher than those for the ISSA Boys & Girls Champs.

Of the thirty qualifiers 26 will actually be competing, which also represents the highest number of competitors the school has placed at this event. This is the last major meet before the "Big Dance", Champs.

We wish all the Eagles well, and sincerely hope some will make the Jamaica team to Martinique, where the games is scheduled to be held April 19 - 21, 2014.

Age Animo,
Shaks
