Excelsior Eagles T&F Teams Soars at CHAMPS in JAMAICA with 1 day to go,,,,Boys in 11th position with 26 points & Girls in 12th with 15 points..

Today was a good day for the Excelsior Eagles T&F Teams. With one day to go and after 18 events scored the Boys were in eleventh place with 26 points. This already 7 points more than we scored last year. 

Meanwhile the Lady Eagles are in Twelfth position with 15 points.  Last year we scored 12 points.

Congratulations to Joel Morgan who secured a bronze medal in the Boys LJ  Class 3. He's also in the finals of the 80m hurdles tomorrow. Shanice Love also made the podium when she finished third in the Girls Discus Class 2.

Other point scores for the Eagles were:

Phillipe Barnett 7th & Nickoy Morrison 8th - Boys Pole Vault Open 

Nyoka Clunis - 5th Girls JT Open

Jonah Morgan - 5th Boys 400m Hurdles Open.

Hanifah Abdul Qudir - 5th Girls HJ Class 1.

Unfortunately our Boys Sprint Medley Relay team was disqualified after finishing first in their heat.

Tomorrow is the final day of competition.  We have finalists in Girls 100m Hurdles Class 2, Boys 80m Hurdles Class 3, & the Girls 4x100m Relay Class 2.
